Meet Dr Rachel Etzion, Dentist
I was drawn to dentistry as an intersection between art and science. I have always wanted to work with people, but also wanted a trade, something that I could do with my hands that could be both a creative outlet and also always be of use to people.
Education and Professional Development
I graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) and a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). To stay abreast of the latest in the field, I take continuing education courses. I have particular interests in paediatric dentistry, preventative dentistry and general restorative dentistry.
“I am so pleased to have joined a practice like Caulfield Park Dentists with strong values and a warm family feeling!”
Putting Nervous Patients at Ease
The most rewarding aspect of my job is helping patients relax and overcome their fears of dentistry. As dentists, we are in a sensitive and trusted position, and the process of gradually rebuilding a patient’s confidence in dentistry and in themselves is one of the most fulfilling parts of the job.

Outside of the Practice
When I am not enhancing patients’ smiles, I love cooking, reading and struggling over the cryptic crossword.
