Meet Dr Joe Zhao, Dental Surgeon
I was inspired to enter the dental field as I like to connect with people, make them laugh, smile wider, and make a difference in people’s lives. Oral surgery is my passion!
The most fulfilling aspect of my job is to change people’s lives and receive genuine gratitude from the people I help.
Education and Professional Development
In 2018, I graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Biomedicine and a Doctor of Dental Surgery. To stay abreast of the latest in the field, I take professional development courses quarterly.
Outside the Practice
When I’m not caring for patients’ smiles, I love music, art, food and cars. Another passion of mine is fashion, and I’m involved in Milan and Paris fashion weeks. I’m also a National Gallery of Victoria Foundation Member and help with developing the fashion and textile department.
My other hobbies include playing the piano, flute, Chinese flute and Erhu.
